The person I interviewed is Brittany Simpson. He works at Cameron High School in the Cameron School District. She is the coordinator of the marketing internship program at the school. I interviewed her on Friday evening. I really enjoyed working with her and really appreciated the time she spent on Friday evening. She was very kind and answered all questions very openly during the interview. Say no to plagiarism. Get a tailor-made essay on "Why Violent Video Games Shouldn't Be Banned"? Get an Original Essay To begin the personal interview, I started with a very simple question, the name and district of the school. I was already familiar with the school and the school district, but I didn't want to go and ask some open-ended question. I later asked her how many students were in the program, she replied, “I only have two in the program this year. We used to have a thing called school flexibility and students had to do a lot during the school flexibility period and I've had a lot of kids drop out of my marketing internship because I needed other assignments and I also have a lot of kids get rid of the flexibility school, so I hope to rebuild it and then the school also got rid of the school flexibility. He wants to rebuild it in the next two years. She was positive about rebuilding school flexibility and I really appreciated her patience. He wants to build it over time, not in a day or two. Since there were only two students in the class, only two of them worked and had some positions. I then asked her what positions the students held. He said, "One student works for his parents' company and the other is some kind of secretary at his mother's law firm." Both students worked for their parents as a side job so they could earn some extra money. He also added, “They are both involved in a lot of activities.” Then I asked her about the mission of the co-op program and she said this: “So our mission is basically just to train leaders and kids who are very aware of what's going on in marketing, I try to give kids an experience of real world so they know there are tons of job opportunities in marketing roles as they just look for them. In a word, his goal is to create self-reliant children, leaders with a good work ethic kids go and find answers to things rather than just Google them." I really liked the goal. It was her fifth year at Cameron High School. So I asked her what three characteristics make a successful coordinator, here his exact words. “Personally you have to be very organized because students will be giving you their materials, so I have a separate folder in my email because they all come in electronic format and I also give them due dates from the beginning of the semester until December, so they can work early if they think they will be busy later. So, I think the organization is huge. The second thing is confidentiality. I don't know how to define the last thing in one term, but it's building relationships.” She also talked about how she received paychecks from students and how she was getting someone else's Social Security number and bank account number and said she had to be extremely secretive about it. He also talked about how communication was important when they had problems. Since she mentioned that one of the most important traits was organization, I became interested and asked her how she organized, planned, and prioritized work: “I give them each a binder the first.
