Topic > My motivation for pursuing engineering and machinery studies

I am currently a student at Chellaston Academy studying mathematics, physics and computer science. As a person, I am extremely motivated, self-disciplined and a dedicated student; I can tackle any obstacle in a wide range of situations, combining excellent communication and management skills. I can contribute to a team with a high degree of enthusiasm and analytical thought processes and with a wide range of additional and diverse skills. During my week at Rolls-Royce, I had the opportunity to learn more about future technologies. I was part of a team where we discussed “Digital You”. Digital You was a concept about how we would like technology to develop and how we want to implement it in our daily lives. My role was to decide what to build within that week that would help us practically in our everyday lives. My suggestion to create our own Google Assistant was accepted by all my team members. After finalizing our product, we had to work as a team to overcome the challenges we faced during that week. This was a wonderful opportunity for me to see how important teamwork is in a real work situation. Say no to plagiarism. Get a tailor-made essay on "Why Violent Video Games Shouldn't Be Banned"? Since I have always wanted to study machine art, it was extremely fascinating and exciting for me to experience it. Volunteering Experience I have been a member of the Nepalese Gurkha community in Derby for the past few years. Last year I volunteered to organize and host a cultural program for Derby's Nepalese Gurkha community. Organizing this program has helped me mature as an individual and gain a tremendous amount of confidence. I was also part of the team that organized a program to raise funds for vulnerable people in Nepal affected by the earthquake of 25 April 2015. Volunteering in such a painful situation taught me the importance of working together as a community to help those who are in need. Skills: Hobbies and Interests In addition to my academic success, I have also achieved exceptional results in extracurricular fields. I like playing all kinds of sports, especially cricket. I have been playing cricket at county level with the Derbyshire Cricket Board for the last 3 years. Playing cricket helped me improve my communication skills and socialize with other people. I have also been someone who kept up with current events, especially as it pertains to phones and other smart gadgets. Personal Statement I am an open and collaborative person who has always been someone who "just tried". My desire to gain new experiences and learn from others has led me to be the mature and independent person I am today. I believe I am a great independent worker who has learned to work even in stressful situations and who is always ready to learn from my mistakes. Furthermore, I like to work in a team with other individuals to solve problems and overcome any difficulties. During my secondary school years, I developed as a person. Now I am much more tolerant, hardworking, mature, responsible and aware of my strengths and weaknesses. I decided to continue my studies by staying in the sixth form and doing my A Levels. Since I was little I have always been fascinated by machines that can perform a huge number of tasks. Seeing cars all over the world has always made me.
