I have never met another character like Forrest Gump in a movie. And for that matter, I've never even seen a movie like “Forrest Gump”. To describe Forrest Gump, it will take a lot of work to make the movie seem more conventional or normal. The film is a minted comedy, I guess. It could be a drama, or even a dream. This film is very magical and creates a picture of emotions for anyone who watches it. Eric Roth's film has the vision of a modern fictional story, which is very rare for modern films nowadays. Tom Hanks plays the hero in this movie. His character is a man with an IQ of 75, who during his life, between the years 1950 and 1980, comes into contact with all the major events in American history. And somehow he survives all these events only with honesty and kindness. “Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you'll get. In this movie, however, when you see Tom Hanks as Forrest and Robin Wright as Jenny, you know you're going to get more than a few laughs and more than a few tears from this movie. In fact, Tom Hanks is probably the only actor who could have played the role of Forrest. Hanks makes Forrest a dignified and forthright person. The way he portrays Forrest Gump is truly breathtaking. This movie is not about a mentally retarded man. This film is a meditation film on our times. The film is seen through the eyes of a man, Forrest, who has no common sense and takes things exactly as they are. After watching the film, the viewer can now understand why some people are criticized or made fun of for being "too smart by half". Forrest, in this film, has the right amount of intelligence to do things... middle of paper... find someone with the true values of honesty, friendship and family. Forrest is a man with a huge heart and a low IQ, however, he never lets that get in his way. Let his heart energize his brain and become a very successful man. Forrest is a very positive and optimistic person. He always sees the best in people and never stops trying in every situation he is given. At the beginning of the film, a feather floats down and lands near his feet as he waits on a bench, at the end of the film the feather reappears and lands next to him. Forrest then looks up, talking to the lady next to him on the park bench and asks, "Do each of us have a destiny or do we just float around by chance, like on the breeze?" While viewers are deciphering the answer to this particular question, the feather reappears and floats through the campaign to the closing credits..
