When teens text and try to do homework at the same time, it will distract them. Most teenagers have their phone next to them while trying to do their homework. The amount of time teens spend texting and on social networking sites can affect their academic performance. Most social networking sites don't allow people much privacy; almost every social networking site that people access will allow them to change their privacy settings.
