Consumers would have more money to spend and jobs would be created, increasing opportunities for countless Americans. The Student Loan Forgiveness Act of 2012 is the best strategy for forgiving student loans. Educated Americans would be given relief after a reasonable repayment period. Student debt has placed too many graduates and their families in dire straits. It would be morally correct to discharge their debts after a period of ten years and at the same time help the economy.
