At the Auto Expo in New Delhi, Tata Aria was launched on 5 January 2010 and on 12 October 2010 it was launched for customers. The price of the car was INR 1.5 million or $30 to $35,000. The concept of this car is based on the Tata , minivans and SUVs. It has a three-row seating arrangement and features such as blackout roof lights, in-dash GPS, 3D surround sound, cruise control, infotainment system, dual climate control with automatic climate control and a multifunctional steering wheel. Safety features include chassis chassis comprising advanced hydroformed elements, 6 airbags, ABS, dual-zone folding steering, ESP and a stiffened body.
