Reading the book titled “The Valley Came Alive: The Life of the Last Messenger” by Ibn Katheer was a truly fantastic experience. It reminds me of my early childhood, when my late father told me about the life of the Prophet Muhammad before going to bed. It is also bringing back memories of when I was in primary and secondary school, when 'Ustaz' and 'Ustazah' never stop teaching me about the Prophet Muhammad. This book inspired me a lot precisely about the life of Prophet Muhammad, it describes in detail all the information, concrete facts that cannot be denied. The first chapter of this story definitely talks about the biography of the Prophet Muhammad. Every end has a beginning, doesn't it? So the story begins with big questions about who? Why? and how? continues to play in my mind. Prophet Muhammad was born on Monday, according to the narration of Muslim in his sahih, under the authority of Abu Qatadah, who reported that a Bedouin said: O Messenger of Allah! How about fasting on Monday?” He said that I was born that day and on it the (first) revelation came to me. I wondered why Monday was classified by solar fasting. I'm thinking. This is an interesting fact. This book also stated that Monday is also the day of the emigrant from Mecca to Medina, he arrived in Medina on Monday, died on Monday and the Black Stone was also raised on Monday. So, fasting on Monday is a normal thing for us and can get some rewards. Also, the interesting thing is that Muhammad was well protected by Allah because there is a word that Muhammad Ibn Ishaq said, Aminah binti Wahb, the mother of The Messenger of Allah said that Muhammad said that someone went to her when she gave birth to the Messenger of Allah and said: You were given birth to the mas...... middle of paper ...... in the month of Rajab, the second year of the Hijra. This is the opinion of Qatadah, Zaid Ibn Aslam and an opinion reported by Muhammad Ibn Is'haaq. Imam Ahmad also reported something to this effect from Ibn Abbas. It is also the evident meaning of the hadith of Al-Bara' Ibn 'Azib, as will be mentioned shortly. However, some others believe that it occurred in the month of Sha'ban of the same year. In conclusion, I have no doubts about this book because it is one of the religious books I have ever read with the best description of the Prophet's life. This is an interesting book and it gives me a chance to gain some knowledge through this book. The fact that I always worship him as my leader earns my love towards Muhammad the Prophet. I will always be with Allah and Prophet Muhammad. Islam is the best religion. I hope to be an outstanding person for the betterment of society and Islam itself.
