It is nothing new that some teachers go to new lengths to embarrass their students, they are good at being amazed at how inconsiderate they are towards the feelings of teenagers. If it were me I would have said that the use of cell phones in class is prohibited, if I saw someone holding or using a cell phone it will be confiscated. I think Mr. Robinson should not teach in a middle school as long as he maintains this attitude. Final Thoughts: There are always two sides to the story. We don't know if this was Emily's first time using the phone in class, or what the teacher-student relationship is in the classroom.
