Topic > Management Techniques in Express-Scipts - 634

After graduation, I want to leverage the information I have gained through the program, strive to promote within Express-Scripts as a Patient Systems Tower Manager. This will give me an opportunity to demonstrate skills and practically apply management techniques and pursue my future professional aspiration. My medium-term goal is to become a Senior Director for Express-Scripts to manage the patient systems area or similar capabilities within any other large organization. I want to introduce cutting-edge technology for customer engagement while balancing operational costs and making it profitable for the company. In this capacity, I will be able to understand and excel in my expertise in corporate finance, supplier management, outsourcing, business strategy, people management and leadership. After achieving the above goals, I want to follow the path to become an executive for any large enterprise. My dream is to become a CIO and eventually grow as CEO of the company. After completing my bachelor's degree in computer applications, I started my IT career as a systems engineer. I understand the structure of a large company, how to play as a team in a large project and quickly become module leader to manage a small team of developers, which gives me the opportunity to familiarize myself with project and people management. At this point, I decided to move into the IT services sector, which offers greater global exposure. I joined Tata, where I had a favorable combination of circumstances, time and place, to finally gain global work experience. I moved to the United States in 1999, worked as an IT analyst for US West Telecommunication while adapting to the new environment, gained knowledge of customer contact systems and became the subject... ... at the center of the paper. .... .the structure and hierarchy. In light of my long-term goal of becoming a CIO for an organization, I will need to have exposure to the global economy, which I will gain through the NYU Stern Global Study Program. Also interacting with diverse students in the class with different job roles and business verticals, helps me build my career profile to achieve my dream goal as an executive. In conclusion, I strongly believe that studying in the NYU Stern EMBA program and the student body holds tremendous benefits and it will be a great experience to interact with the students and faculty. I intend to take part in all activities within the program and create good friendship and excellent connections within the global alumni community, which will help me achieve my short and medium term goals as well as significant progress towards achieving my long-term career aspiration
