Greetings, my fellow South Africans. We are here today to gather and unite in our quest for continued democratic government. I, BB HH, am the president and founding member of the Democratic Fusion Committee (DFC). This nourished, beautiful, beloved Rainbow Nation has celebrated its birthday as a democratic society for twenty long, splendid and strengthening years. This society has traced its arduous journey back out of the rubble and dystopia that was our past and has transformed this country from a barren wasteland full of lies, deceit and hatred into a utopia from which equality, freedom and love have flowed . The hands of Tata Madiba, from whom this great nation was born, have worked tirelessly to achieve the democracy we have today, for which the DFC will continue to fight relentlessly in everything we do.
