Is this the wrong way to do things? No, not necessarily. It could save them time and money. As for others, they might use their time in school to figure out what they want to do. Is this a wrong way to figure out what you want to do? NO! The education system just needs to expand, be overhauled and incorporate all these factors into the learning system, so that it can be easier to use for all types of students, regardless of how they wish to continue their education. The education system must not continue to allow funding to hold it back, because after all it should be designed to produce and prepare responsible and productive citizens. Whether the funding is there or not, change needs to happen! Just like a person who has a job that pays them very well, but is dissatisfied with what they have to do in that position... most of the time this person decides to change careers. Students, teachers, parents and employees all want to be satisfied with the end result of their efforts and the time dedicated to individual skill growth and potential. Hence, the education system needs to be overhauled to the fullest extent possible
