Both of these jobs allowed me to gain strong communication skills. In my final year at school I became prefect of Dingwall Academy. This gave me responsibilities in school that I took very seriously. I also enjoyed the various activities at school, such as playing on the school hockey team and going to art tutorial on Wednesday evenings. Having a part-time job while studying for high school was difficult and I struggled with time management at first. However this made me even more determined to succeed in my final year of school. I did this by spending more time studying during my free periods and improving my independent study skills by spending more time studying at home.
