Topic > The Change in Fahrenheit 451, by Ray Bradbury - 1395

Sometimes it will lead to better things down the road, but it can also be a change that can hurt you. In many novels, authors change their characters to help people clearly understand how they feel and more importantly to move readers forward through the story. In Fahrenheit 451, Ray Bradbury makes Montag change to show us that Montag has learned that reading is useful in life and can always help you in most of your situations. Montag ends up being able to assimilate better with Faber at the end of the story because he has expanded his vocabulary and learned things he never knew before simply by reading the book.
