America kept the Japanese in concentration camps under the pretense that they posed a threat to security and freedom. It was easy to justify depriving someone else's liberty by making sure America knew they were attacking ours. America, a nation built by immigration, has also been plagued by some of the most racist and unjust immigration laws. Freedom may be guaranteed in America, but that doesn't mean it isn't
