Topic > Why do hunters hunt today? - 1349

In today's society, many people have the wrong idea about hunting. These people think that hunters kill animals just for fun and sport. There are some people who hunt for sport, but the majority of hunters hunt for food. What skeptics don't know about hunters is that we treat animals with moral values. We respect animals and never allow any body part to go to waste. There are also many ways in which we have evolved in the way we hunt from the Middle Ages to today. The future of hunting is questionable; will we still be able to hunt? There are many ways literature has talked about hunting over the years and how they must kill the animals or beast. As a society today, we have evolved a lot from what hunting was like way back in the Middle Ages and so on. The way we hunt in today's world has changed greatly from the use of sticks and stones, to guns and other hunting weapons. Hunting has also provided us with heat sources and helped us create tools for daily living over the years. When man first evolved, he had to learn to hunt to survive. There are also different types of hunting, such as hunting a person or a criminal. People have used dogs for hunting, finding food and as protection from the animal while hunting. Today in America there are many animals to hunt; turkey, deer, dove, quail, pheasant, duck, geese, elk, bear and many more. There are many stories that talk about different types of hunting forms for example in the Middle Ages; Beowulf and the Green Knight are forms of the hunting styles. Many of the ancient Indian tribes had legends of hunting stories passed down from generation to generation. In the history of hunting some believed that you became a man when you could go... middle of paper... only to be hit and killed by cars. With hunting we can eliminate this problem by reducing the population of deer and many other animals. If he doesn't kill the deer, he could put him in critical condition and will have to fight to survive. No one wants to see a deer fighting for its life. The pigs are taking over the crops, eating everything, attacking people and have even killed some. If hunters stop hunting wildlife altogether in the future, it could cause farmers to lose their livestock crops, which can cause a huge problem for our society. They also have more viruses that they spread and can transmit them to farmers' livestock, which can cause livestock numbers to decline. If we were to stop hunting altogether, farmers' crops would come at a very high price and wildlife would begin to eat all the food they try to provide humans..
