Cinema has always had a strong influence on today's culture, but perhaps none as widespread as Star Wars. The strongest of the series were episodes 4, 5 and 6 of the original trilogy, all generally published in the 1980s. As one of the strongest French films still today, its impact in the 1980s was just the tip of the iceberg.
