In conclusion, a person must be quite certain of his ability to handle the responsibility of marriage before taking on a spouse. It is true that in Islam poverty is not an obstacle to the success of marriage, Allah, as the Quran says, has pledged to provide for every living creature, and can, and has promised to enrich the poor spouses with His generosity.
