Sandman makes crisis response professionals recognize diversity of opinion when it comes to decision making during response efforts in the sixth recommendation (Sandman, 2004) . So the response team demonstrates a united front, the team should not undermine the policy by making people complain about organizations' decisions, but instead, support the policy through decisive and enforceable action. In public forums and when building response efforts, team members must recognize other points of view when presenting a new policy and explain the reasons for the decision. As part of this recommendation, it is important to realize that one hundred percent agreement is not necessarily beneficial since group consensus does not equate to reality in predictions.
