Volunteering is truly an amazing experience that I recommend every individual to do in their life during their free time because it could benefit you in developing new skills and help others in their life. So far in my high school career I have volunteered for many different organizations and some of these organizations have helped other people. I really enjoyed volunteering and the ones that changed my life and helped me become the person I am now are volunteering at the Longmont Public Library, St.vrain Habitat for Humanity and packing food for the homeless in the my church. I really enjoyed volunteering at the Longmont Public Library; in the library I helped children with chores, I helped the librarians put books back on their original shelves and also read books to the children. By helping children with chores I learned to interact with people of different ages.
