Did you know that endangered animals represent natural diversity? 800 animals go extinct every year. Animals are in danger because they do not receive enough help and support. Endangered animals need to be saved because animals are important. The animals represent the nation and the citizens. Animals need to be saved because they are so rare and precious to the nation. Endangered animals must be saved because they are valuable to scientists and the economy. Animals lose their homes to deforestation, fires and pollution. The environment can also affect animals. Drought affects animals' water supplies and plants. People cut down trees for wood, and most people don't know that they are cutting down an animal's home. Wildfires also cause habitat loss for animals. Poaching and smuggling are the main causes of animal extinction. Pollution is very bad for an animal and its habitat. Animals are curious and try to eat objects that cause pollution. Additionally, some rivers and natural resources are becoming polluted and may force an animal to move to a new home. Pollution damages precious resources that animals need. Global warming is melting ice sheets. Polar bears and other animals need ice, because ice is the animals' home. The Earth is gradually warming. Global warming not only affects animals, but also affects humans. Many endangered animals are killed for their fur. Fur is used for clothing and money. People buy fur because the animals are rare and are used for clothing, trade, carpets, etc. Humans illegally kill and trade endangered animals. Animals are traded because they are rare and have economic value... middle of paper... a happy life, just as humans deserve the chance at a happy life. Endangered animals must be saved, because if animals are not saved the world will not have such natural diversity and economic value.
