TheoryThis chapter includes theories, useful for this project, about leadership and creativity, imagination. Also, I try to discuss what are the perspectives of leadership, how people understand it. Accordingly, this way should help me answer the problem statement. First of all, according to Matthew R. Fairholm, (Fairholm, 2004) there are two different approaches to the study of leadership. The first and most popular is to focus on the leader, suggesting that the best way to understand leadership is to study concrete individuals in concrete situations. Furthermore, supporters of this method focus primarily on the qualities, behaviors of those who claim to be or receive the title of leader. (Fairholm, 2004). In other words, in this approach leadership is what leaders are or do, so the meaning of leadership acquires from the leader's work. So, leaders define leadership. The second approach notes that when studying individual leaders it is not possible to gain a general understanding of leadership. “This approach rejects the idea that leadership is a sum of the qualities, behaviors, or situational responses of individuals in a position of authority at the head of organizations. “ (Fairholm, page 579, 2004). Therefore supporters of this approach agree that leadership is something bigger than the leader: they agree that leadership includes everything we can define who can be a leader. Therefore, the meaning of “leader” or who can be a leader depends on the leadership techniques presented, not the position held. In this way, we can say that we must above all pay attention to leadership as a job in which the leader must take responsibility for wrong decisions, take the initiative to change the situation, plan, organize the team... middle of paper... ... The fourth perspective: leadership in a culture of trust. It is a bit similar to the third perspective, because it also focuses on shared values between leaders and followers, but the difference is that here it is even more based on trust based on shared values. So, teams emphasize, mutual trust between leaders and followers. The Ultimate Perspective: Whole-Soul (Spiritual) Leadership. It is also based on the idea of maintaining a culture of trust and paying attention to the nature of the soul in our professional and personal lives. These spiritual leaders have the greatest task of using their spirit (soul, heart, etc.). Total leadership also involves the components of personal and work life in an absolute system of continuous growth, development and self-leadership in that way in which leaders see others as whole people with many emotions, skills, knowledge, etc...
