Reading a book has always been really enjoyable. However, sometimes, reading books that are not in my native language can be quite challenging. For example, every week I have reading assignments for my zoology tutorial. One of the books we are reading is The Structure of Scientific Revolutions by a famous scientist, Thomas S. Kuhn. Even my American classmates found this book very difficult to read because, in short, it is a combination of complicated scientific facts and philosophy. After learning the reading strategies, I used them while reading the book's postscript. In general, the postscript contained the conclusions of all previous chapters, and the author added some new ideas and explanations since this chapter was written seven years after the book was first published. A theory supported by the author throughout the book was that each scientific community is made up of scientists who have undergone similar education and professional training.
