First of all let's just say that what happened to Shoshana Hebshi was extremely wrong. Ms. Hebshi and the other two men were profiled because of their ethnic origin. It's sad to say, but after the 9/11 travesty, racial profiling occurred more than ever before. The intent of racial profiling in law enforcement is to protect the well-being of our nation. However there are many problems with racial profiling. Even though racial profiling is unconstitutional, many different agencies practice it. Majority rule also has its problems. The intent of racial profiling in law enforcement has a huge impact. Although, in a strange way, if law enforcement didn't have some sort of profiling as a nation, we could have more attacks. What our law enforcement agencies intend to do or achieve is the security of national security. However, I'm not saying that I think they should racially profile people, but I think they should pay close attention to people who look or behave bizarrely. In Shoshana Hebshi's case, in my opinion, she wasn't acting strangely...
