Don Quixote is truly filled with the humanistic ideal of chivalry, but completely separates it from reality. Don Quixote's first adventure seems very comical, especially when he fought with windmills, he saw giants in them. This battle with the windmills seemed to him to be the greatest battle between good and evil. In everything he sees the intrigues of the evil sorcerer, who must necessarily win in order to "wipe the bad seed from the face of the earth." And even when he hits the wing of the mill, and he falls injured, he doesn't see reality.
