The gods are ancient beings who are believed to have created the world and are children of the Titans. Most gods are thought to help mortals forever. Zeus, the most famous of all gods, is worshiped by millions. Yet, Zeus, the ruler of the gods, is one of the most selfish and irresponsible gods of all. Zeus was a bad god because he had many affairs, he abused his powers and did not use them for good. Zeus was well known for his many affairs with many different types of women. It didn't matter if this woman was helpless or sick; if Zeus had wanted her, he would have tricked her into sleeping with him. “Zeus had affairs with more than 115 women, starting with his first wife, Metis, who he swallowed when it was prophesied that she would bear a son more powerful than Zeus” (Web). No mortal man would even dream of having so many affairs even when he is not married. Zeus is supposed to be the ruler of the gods, a role model, and he can't even stay faithful to his wife.
