The relationship between science and religion is difficult and the two sides have tested and debated each other in many forums. Some believe that there are major differences between science and religion and that the two can never coexist, while others believe that science is actually proof that religious views are correct. To better understand and answer the question of whether the two sides are truly in conflict, we will examine: my perspective on the topic, the definitions of both science and religion, the basic arguments of both sides, scientific evolution, the different religions and religious views, the compatible versus incompatible argument, how religion has influenced science and the opinions of the modern scientist. My opinion on the scientific and religious conflict is that science is the best way to validate religion. I am a very religious person and am not swayed by my faith because of some new archaeological discovery on the Discovery Channel. I know there are many things I believe in but cannot prove. I believe modern science is just like modern religion. I believe science is simply proof of religion. I don't dispute that the scientific community has valid arguments about many things. I believe religion and science coexist and seek to validate each other. It's all a theory. I don't think anyone knows why religion and science don't always get along when it comes to theory and the timeline of life on Earth. I know there is a higher power and that they have a plan. I don't always see that plan, but I believe my faith is true. I do not believe in the theory of evolution and I believe that evolution is completely incompatible with religion.
