Topic > Globalization has changed the world differently

Globalization has affected not only America but the entire world from an economic point of view. Thomas L. Friedman is an author who provides evidence that globalization has improved economies such as lifestyle, business, shopping malls, and the vehicles we drive. Friedman defines globalization “as the inexorable integration of markets, transportation systems, and communications systems to a degree never seen before, in a way that allows companies, countries, and individuals to reach farther, farther out into the world. faster, deeper and at lower costs than ever before. before, and in a way that is enabling the world to reach cooperation, countries and individuals further, faster, deeper and more economically than ever before.” On the other hand, globalization has affected us in a negative way by causing terrorist attacks; for example, September 11, 2001, when planes were hijacked and crashed into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. Globalization is a current trend that started recently in the last 30 years. As globalization continues, it will continue to lead the world towards a better economic future. For example, globalization has changed the world in several ways; for example, decreasing isolation, enabling trade between countries, providing new information every day around the world, and the growth of companies like McDonalds and Starbucks. Globalization began in the late 1980s after replacing the Cold War system; a previous international system, which divided countries segregated following the Cold War. During the Cold War it had created a “wall” between countries that divided everyone from trade and news. For example, during the Cold War, Germany was one of the events that suffered; the east and west had been divided... in the center of the card... festyle. For example, driving a car, living at home and going to shopping malls. These are just some of the lifestyle things we have access to on a daily basis. Works Cited Ainsworth, Alan.
