The Origami Rehabilitation Center helps patients who have suffered some type of brain injury, from a stroke to an accident. I believe Juliane possesses the important traits and qualities of an ideal clinician. Juliane began each session with a short conversation with the patient. Not only did he ask questions about the patient and his life, he also asked questions about the patient's family. I found this great because it showed the patient that he cares about his life outside of the session. This short conversation went above and beyond any other doctor I have observed. Additionally, even with the patient load Juliane sees, she was attentive to each patient. He made it clear that each session was “client-centered” and understood the patient's frustration or feelings. In conclusion, my time at Origami was an amazing and enlightening experience that I can honestly say I will remember forever. And it wasn't thanks to the patient that I was able to observe, but because I was lucky enough to observe Juliane. Juliane is someone who truly cares about what she does and her patients. And that's what makes it the most ideal clinic I've ever had the chance to
