Data Analysis and FindingsThe report presents and analyzes the data collected for the study on Teaching English Language Learners. Two questions were the basis of this research. Analysis of the research questions:1. Are teachers exhausting every source to help English language learners?2. Are teachers prepared to teach English language learners in schools? Research Question 1 Is teaching exhausting every source to help English language learners? Teachers' attitudes towards English language students' learning vary and this is a potential factor that can seriously hinder students' full development. Figure 1 shows the preferred model for teaching English language learners in the classroom. Figure 1. Perhaps, teachers decide to use the pull-out model, which involves forming small groups of students and teaching them, rather than the push-in model, which includes students in the content area material. This is because sometimes teachers did not know how to plan them because the content area teacher did not provide them with the materials to teach ESL students. Therefore, collaboration between teachers can help students keep up with their English-speaking peers; this way, ESL students can succeed. Table 1 presents a survey conducted by teachers of English to students of other languages. Table 1. TESOL – perceptions about collaboration In Table 1, we can get an idea of what the attitudes are towards actually helping English language learners by any means. Some teachers reported that when they find collaboration fun and it eases their workload; however, more than half (56%) of content teachers did not find collaboration helpful for either them or their students....... middle of paper...... however, teachers should try to collaborate with each other and fully engage in the idea of meeting the needs of students in classrooms. Recommendations The study revealed teachers' attitudes and perceptions towards English language learners' learning. However, the survey results are from a small sample and are localized to a particular area of the United States. Some recommendations are to involve a larger group of teachers to find out whether they would like to collaborate with other teachers to improve students' English language learning. Furthermore, this study can be conducted in individual schools and compares the results of students' academic performance at the end of the school year. A collaborative study can be evaluated at school and then compare students' development at the end of the year.
