He writes in chronological order and gives details about each character and what they experienced. The protagonists of the story are the six characters. The six characters struggle to survive after the bomb is dropped on Hiroshima. They had to overcome diversity due to disfigurement, loss of loved ones and their homes to the bomb. The antagonist of the story is the atomic bomb. The bomb caused damage that affected the lives of the protagonists for decades until their deaths. It also affected the Hiroshima community. The Americans are not considered antagonists of the story because the Japanese community in Hiroshima thinks that their end was caused by the outcome of the war. ...
