Every elementary school in my city requires a placement exam for freshman admission. My parents decided to test me with the system by sending me to a tutor. At that time, I believe that some people are more superior than others based on family status, especially families with political backgrounds. I didn't care much about the exam, because I felt that the result had already been determined within the school. In China, people with money can get married in one of the best schools or get a good job within the government. I have the same mentality as my parents, my family background will not get me anywhere near a higher education. The education system in China has always been corrupt, which is why I leave home to play with my neighbors. When my parents found out, they got so angry that they locked me up in the dark for hours. While I was in the darkness, the scary, scary moment flew by and led me to try to take the exam instead of walking away like a coward. Because of this, I have become more cooperative with my parents. I did my best during the placement exam, but it's difficult to study full time when I'm only seven or so. Ultimately, I was accepted even though I was one point away from the standard score line.
