Music would not be music if it were not for the sound produced by an object that we know as an instrument. “A musical instrument is a device made or adapted to produce musical sounds (Oxford Dictionary (British and World English)).” Music has very ancient origins and even before electric instruments, man has always found a way to create sound. Whether it was clapping, singing or humming, people have always created ways to create sounds. While it's not a proven fact, I firmly believe that music is a way to connect emotionally. Music will and will always be a way for people to express their emotions such as sadness, excitement, happiness and anger. However, music would not be music if it were not for the sounds produced by instruments. There are many instruments around the world, but the ones I find interesting are the saxophone, accordion and violin. The saxophone (also known as saxophone) is a tapered-bore transposing musical instrument ("Saxophone"). The saxophone was founded by Antoine-Joseph Sax ("The History of the Saxophone"). Strongly influenced by his father, he began to dedicate himself to creating instruments at a very young age. He also produced some of the most famous instruments we know such as the flute and the clarinet ("The Story of the Saxophone"). Antoine-Joseph Sax was so talented and knowledgeable that he immediately noticed the different aspects of the instruments. This helped him in the creation of the saxophone. “Sax noticed that the brass had the upper hand over the woodwinds, and the winds over the strings. He saw the need to invent a new instrument that would create some form of balance between the three sections (brass, winds and strings). The sound he was looking for lay between the clari...... middle of paper ......ozart, Ludwig Beethoven, Franz Schubert, Johannes Brhms, Claude Debussy, etc. They were all respected composers from different eras who used the violin to compose great, unforgettable music. The melody and harmonies composed by the violin are what create its uniqueness. In all, the saxophone, accordion, and violin are all unique and complex instruments played by many respected musicians and composers. These instruments create sounds that I love to listen to and are used as methods of emotional and mental expression. The coordination skills needed to play these instruments are profound. It's a way to express yourself and relieve stress. The sounds composed by these instruments have the ability to influence and motivate. Music is history and art, and music-making tools are a fun and exciting way to promote happiness in life.
