Being considered a “well-educated” person is a topic that has been debated on several occasions by friends and family. There are some in this debate who consider themselves highly educated because of great financial success, others because they have many degrees. I find that people's attitudes can make or break a person regardless of who they are or how much they have earned financially. The truth is that no matter what a person may have in life, if ignorance precedes them, there is no way this title is applicable. There are societies that believe that the importance of education depends on educational status, academic goals, and a particular social status that has a certain degree of class or stature. The quality of education is evaluated based on what a student should know or be able to do. be considered educated. The question of whether or not people seriously argue about this topic today is compared to whether people argued about it in the first century. I like to think that education was as important then as it is now. THESIS Being well educated does not always consist of eloquent people, successful entrepreneurs, prestigious scholars with few degrees or decorated military personnel. Many might say that the quality of the person or character is more important. People are judged simply by what others may or may not assume, what they see, or what is written with the possibility of not being a fact. Many people have been assigned some sort of status in life which can increase a person's importance or lower their quality status in life. Many have earned positions with the right to say they are “well educated,” which is a fair representation or assessment of who they are or have become.
