I recently started a new Twitter account and have been following the tweets from the Associated Press. I only followed the AP's tweets for a day, not simply because my news feed was inundated, but because they were tweeting something like "BREAKING NEWS" four or five times after it was already old news. I find this annoying. One of my compulsions is clearing notifications. I realized, after a day with the Twitter page open, that it wasn't a useful way to spend my time and I'm relieved I didn't have the app installed on my phone because it activates my
