Topic > Health Dimension Goals Personal Reflection Paper

Health Dimension Looking at my goals I noticed how two of the six health dimensions were incorporated into both goals. Every goal had a dimension, psychological and physical, without even thinking about it. My path to emotional well-being involved learning to be more aware of my thoughts and feelings. Understanding my body and mind when I was overworked and also stressed, learning time management skills and maintaining a balance between my academic and social life. Physical well-being not only involves aspects of life necessary to keep oneself in tip-top condition, but is also about developing personal responsibility for one's health care. Training and eating well are not all you need to achieve physical well-being. You should also get the recommended hours of sleep and get regular checkups from your doctor. The physical benefits of looking good and feeling good often lead to psychological benefits of increased self-esteem, self-control, determination and a sense of direction.
