Sustainable development does not mean using only donor funds; it's an investment on both sides. Whenever the government experiences a lack of resources, donors can provide budget support, which by default will have a direct impact on development activities. Otherwise, given the level of corruption in governments in many developing countries, public funds will be misused. Transparency and financial responsibility should be on both sides. It is not only important how much funds reach the country, but also where these funds go and what the results are
