During the European Renaissance, many different ideas flourished that had a lasting impact on the world. Humanism is a worldview and moral philosophy that considers man to be of primary importance. The aspect of humanism first thrived in 14th-century Italy, then spread north in the 15th century. Initially, humanistic ideas about education were quickly adopted by the Italian upper class. Italian ideas and attitudes towards life and learning had an impact on nobility in other parts of Europe. They were able to accept and adapt to this new lifestyle. Humanism during the Renaissance helped spread ideas about the fundamental nature of human beings, how people should be educated to become well-rounded individuals, and how education affects an individual's life. Humanists presented a new perspective on the fundamental nature of human beings. The idea that God made every man unique was a key element in this new philosophy and changed the perspective of people across Europe. According to the Oration on the Dignity of Man by Giovanni Pico Della Mirandloa, “Finally the best of craftsmen ordered that that creature to whom he had been unable to give anything of his own... of what had been peculiar to each of the different types of being ” (doc.1). The perception that God created man as a unique creature with exclusive qualities has allowed anyone to achieve great goals. Humans began to believe that they were the pinnacle beings of their civilization which ultimately allowed them to strive in human ingenuity and human effort rather than divine grace. Human beings were viewed optimistically in terms of what they could do, not only in the arts and sciences, but also morally. Furthermore, the thought that every man has the capacity to think and... of paper... of learning and wisdom, is in fact very similar to a beautiful ship, which has wind and tide at will” (doc .3) . Monarchs with strong leadership form the foundation of educated government officials, which will ultimately lead to stronger and safer countries. The citizens of these powerful countries were influenced by influential leaders who created better lives for all. Throughout the Renaissance, ideas about the fundamental nature of human beings, how people should be educated to become well-rounded individuals, and how education impacts an individual's life. life was spread across England. Renaissance humanism was a revolution in thought and feeling, which left no part of European society untouched, not even the highest levels of Christianity. Education continues to be important in today's world, establishing successful careers for many people in global society.
