Who can hear the words "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind" and not remember the images of the Apollo 11 lunar mission. We invented and exploring things for centuries. Many of these things we have discovered or invented were never thought to be possible during Earth's lifetime. But they exist today and are used by almost all human beings and there are many other incredible and unlikely things that will come to help us in our daily lives. One of the most interesting things for me would be exploration and invention. We are about to venture into the history of space and discover how man and his inventions got there. This renowned and famous walk on the Moon, which had confounded scientists for years, had finally become a dream come true not only for Americans, but for the entire world. . It was July 20, 1969, the day that reshaped our nation and gave us unprecedented dreams for the future. The impact of that day goes far beyond our self-esteem and our patriotism; that day changed the history of space exploration and technology forever. As thousands of people watched the live television broadcast, a feeling of exaggerated euphoria spread across the nation when Neil Armstrong stepped onto the surface of the moon. It was the first time in the history of humanity that we set foot on the surface of another celestial body. Just like a comet or an eclipse, that day gave us a hint of promise and longing, the chance to see man's greatest achievement of the 20th century, an event so inanimate and incredible. We humans have always wanted to have a better understanding of what is happening around us, to know our origins and what is happening beyond our planet Earth. Outer space has always intrigued... middle of paper... without all the advancements and debates, space exploration will forever remain in American and world history and will always live on in the heart and soul of man.John F. Kennedy challenged us to dream, his divine guidance gave courage to the nation and we, without fear, aspired to reach the moon, to distinguish ourselves from the rest of the world. The space race was symbolic of many things. Our future, when the technically dominant nation prevails; we not only reached the moon, but we conquered it as a nation; united. What NASA had done in the United States was a huge step forward in science and history. Our current position as a nation is due to this great technological leap. If it were not for this, our knowledge would be a fragment of what it is today. It wasn't just one small step for Neil Armstrong; it was a fundamental and significant step for humanity.
