Which person in the world hasn't wanted, at some point in their life, to go back in time? Whether it's getting another chance to fix our mistakes or seizing an opportunity we once let go of, we all long to travel to the past. For some people, it's totally different. They want to go back in time not only to look but also to feel young again; and luckily for these people the solution has been found. Since ancient times people have sought self-improvement, and plastic surgery, which is the repair, reconstruction, or change of body parts through surgical procedures, has never stopped evolving and improving to help them. In recent decades, plastic surgery has become increasingly widespread, which has raised the debate between those who accept it and those who oppose it and want it to be stopped, especially when it is performed for aesthetic rather than reconstructive purposes. Cosmetic surgery should not be trivialized, as it has numerous benefits and leads to favorable consequences. First, plastic surgery increases the self-confidence of the person who undertakes it (Nauert, 2011). Indeed, according to Figueroa-Haas (cited in Nauert, 2011), although plastic surgery is not the best way to cure low self-esteem problems, we cannot deny its psychological benefits. Figueroa-Haas, (cited in Nauert, 2011), conducted a study in 2005 on 84 middle-aged women to evaluate the change in their self-esteem before and after breast enlargement and the results showed that, indeed, the women's self-esteem - their self-confidence improved after surgery and this also affected their sexual satisfaction and attitudes. Similar studies were conducted by Borah (as cited in Kohl, 2000) on patients undergoing cosmetic surgery to evaluate their quality of life before and after the process (half an article (eild, 2010). Most foreign surgery patients Lebanese plastic comes from Arab countries such as the Gulf, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, but there are also some patients arriving from the United States and Europe (Neild, 2010). , 2010), which describes plastic surgeons' work during holidays as similar to restaurant work during holidays as they are very busy, reported a 25% increase in work due to foreign patients in 2009. Similarly, the Lebanon A representative of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery announced a 20% increase in the plastic surgery business thanks to extravagant patients (Neild, 2010). Furthermore, the fact that banks such as the First National Bank of Lebanon have started to offer loans for cosmetic surgery is an indication of how it has relaunched the country's economy (Neild, 2010).
