Accounting helps the government and organizations in decision making for their financial stability. These numerical data help solve real-life problems and contribute to the performance of the economy and businesses. My interest in accounting and finance stems from a desire to understand how governments and businesses make their vital decisions to be profitable. Studying this degree will enable me to gain an understanding of financial accounting, management accounting and taxation providing me with the skills to analyze data and develop my decision making. Also be able to incorporate different aspects of the business along with the core modules; it will give me greater knowledge of the world of accounting and finance. While studying A-level Psychology, Chemistry and ICT BTEC, I gained skills that will be useful to me when studying accounting and finance.
