After calling 911, he was clearly told not to approach the suspicious individual (Trayvon Martin), but instead disobeyed and intercepted Trayvon. Zimmerman was just a neighborhood watchman when he tried to become a professional police officer, which he had no training or permit to do. He obviously seemed to want to start something that could have been avoided altogether. Mr. Zimmerman also used extreme force against an unarmed teenager. Mr. Zimmerman was known for discriminating against members of his own family. He has had his run-in with the law as previously stated above. Martin's shooting wasn't just the first time he was handcuffed. Zimmerman was reported to have abused his current wife multiple times, drunk under the influence, and many others. It shows that Zimmerman has a mental problem based on previous crimes
