Can be easily obtained during college organizations. Students can gain confidence, learn to speak in front of groups of people, learn to present themselves correctly, learn to communicate effectively, make friends (necessary skills), and advance their career prospects (necessary skills). Jobs want people who can speak well and if a student doesn't have those well-developed social skills they could miss out on that job opportunity. For example, a highly qualified person may be the best potential candidate for a job; however, if that person seems shy, can't make eye contact, and has terrible communication skills, they wouldn't get that job. Now a person who is not as qualified as the first person but has excellent social skills could get the job depending on the type of job they are applying for, especially if it is a job that would have them socializing with many people on a daily basis in places like Google. Students should join a college organization because it will allow them to network, is a resume builder, will teach them real-life experiences, and improve their social skills. Campus organizations are available to students and should consider them. The types of organizations they can join range from graphic design to actuarial science clubs. Students can also start their own clubs if they can't find one that interests them. There is really no reason why a student can't find the time to enroll
