Family TraditionsIf you actually think that your family is the weirdest, well you're wrong. My family doesn't care what time, day, month, week or year it is, when they feel like doing it, they will. Some families have annual traditions, some crazy, some sensible and some just ordinary, we have wacky traditions but that's not all. When we go on family trips we do crazy things, whether it's getting our nails painted or braiding our hair, nothing (for us) is too crazy. Having said that, I'll end with this. Every year someone has a broken arm, a bruised eye, or a chipped tooth because of what we do on a weekly basis. Sometimes we do the strangest things. My family is probably one of the craziest for what we do every week. We have annual traditions that, unlike the others, we have to jump into the water. The swim meet is probably the coldest thing we've done to date. It requires us to swim across the lake with an ice pack attached to our abdomen. When we go outside we run for half a mile with an ice brick in each hand that weighs about 1 pound each. When we reach the finish line we have to slide towards the hot zone. I've done a number of dives that end horribly, but when we do the high dive off a desert cliff in the middle of the night yes, you might just break your legs. Let's start with the fact that we were doing three sixties, but when I opened my legs I think I died when I hit the water. So we have blind running where yes, you guessed it, we run with a blindfold. We thought this would be a good idea until we came across a patch of cactus. So let's just say we don't have this figured out yet. After we were done with the blind race, we thought we could have a competition that could last forever. That's where the float c... in the center of the paper... a challenge to see who can do Parkour. Then it becomes who can do Parkour on frozen objects. Sometimes we might actually make an edit because we're so lucky. It also means we break our arms more often than usual. More often than usual I have a scar or bruise in my right eye. It's starting to worry me that my family never thinks of the word safe when it comes to my family. It also means that my family is pretty nice. It never occurs to me, but they have a whole new lore system going down. Like I said, my family is probably one of the craziest for what we do every week. It doesn't matter if we run blind, or slip on freezing water, maybe even run with a tank on our foot, it's all about time spent with family. Nowadays we never understand it. So if you or your friends have a rough idea, go for it because they're not as bad as the family traditions we have.
