Students Enemy Going to university makes your future less complicated, but there are a number of reasons why students drop out. The main reason is that school is not interesting and can be hell for some students. There are many ways to prevent a student from succeeding. To help America become a better place, the next generation needs to overcome every obstacle, and that depends on the students who are in school right now. To capture a student's interest and help them succeed, it would be best to make them feel comfortable by understanding what is stopping them from achieving their goals in life. Five times more high school students suffer from anxiety and other mental health problems than youth of the same age studied in the Great Depression era, according to a new study. There are two types of stress, good and bad. However, too much stress adds difficult challenges to one's life. It can come from a variety of sources, such as meeting the expectations of parents, teachers, or coaches. Also, from doing well in school to social life. School takes up a lot of time, as does sport and social life. Students today try to balance all of these things. A study was conducted in which 5 universities examined the responses of 77,576 high school or college students who took the MMPI from 1938 to 2007. According to the results, hypomania went from 5% to 31% and depression from 1% to 6%. Now the percentages have increased over the years. Coaches expect students to give their all and stay committed. Teachers expect students to learn and pass the lesson. Society expects you to have a unique personality and style. Soon, students feel like they aren't good enough and become extremely stressed... halfway through the task... their goals in life. Stress is something that can get out of control. Bullying is what makes stress worse. Doing simple things and changing others can help students feel comfortable. When all the weight of the stress you were carrying and all the problems were gone, school would get really interesting. Works Cited anderegg, david. Nerds: who they are and why we need them.
