Emily Dickinson and Robert Frost both think that individuality is very important for a person equally similar to Ralph Emerson. While they may have much in common, these poets are different in many ways. Both Frost and Dickinson were American poets and were both from New England. A great similarity between Frost and Dickinson both talk about death. Emily Dickinson and Robert Frost both talk about the power of nature in their poetry. Frost and Dickinson have reasonable evidence for why humans should live life on their own schedule, but what if that person can't stop living someone else's dreams? How can these poems help people break away from society and become a person with strong self-confidence? Dickinson and Frost both show an example, for example, in Emily Dickinson's poem "I am nobody! Who are you?" It shows that she is passionate about being herself and not letting society change her opinions. He says "How sad - to be - Someone! How public - like a frog - to say one's name - the long June (lines 3-5). " Dickinson's point is that it is better to be someone than a nobody. Also, he thinks being a famous celebrity would be sad. When you are always in the public eye, you will tend to get lost in the process. People who want to be someone show off. Not only does Dickinson embrace individuality, but so does Robert Frost. In “The Road Not Taken,” Frost is making a decision about which path to take. As the eminent philosopher Frost says "And sorry, I could not walk both, and be a traveller, long I stood, and looked down one to the other." as I could (lines 5-7)". In this poem he says "I" a lot. The I shows that Frost is uncertain which path to take. Either the one less traveled or the one more traveled. He is taking his decision seriouslyIn Dickinson, I'm nobody, who are you?'' she shows that she is proud of being nobody and not being in the "crowd". Don't say it, they advertise – you know (line 2-4)” She has found a person just like her and is excited to be paired with no one you also see she is a little scared of how powerful society is over people For example , celebrity Kim Kardashian and Nicki Manji and two people who have influenced the body standard of girls in today's world These women have undergone plastic surgery on their body to gain more fame and because of this many other women are doing it themselves because they think their body isn't up to society's standards. Once you surrender to society, you will not recognize yourself. Emily Dickinson further complicates the issue when she writes, “How public – like a Frog – (line 6).” In other words, Dickinson believes that she would be exposed and that, like everyone else, like frogs, they would all look and sound the same. Meanwhile Frost isn't sure he won't go with the crowd. In "The Road Not Taken", Frost chooses between two paths. One street is busier and the other is not. While he was traveling he started to be unsure which one to take. In the end, out of curiosity, he heads towards the less frequented one. Part of him regrets taking this direction, but...
