Abraham Lincoln compared to other presidents in my opinion is the best president and he lived in Illinois for a long time because being a lawyer he may have been seen as very tall and dark but he was actually a loving person who he was always with his family and made sure that if they were sick he would help them as best he could, but unfortunately almost all of his children died. Childhood Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12, 1809 in Kentucky. After his mother's death, he moved to Indiana where he worked as a child ("Abraham Lincoln" par. 3-5). He lived in Hardin County where Abraham Lincoln had an old water well and Lincoln had a brother but his brother died after a few days also Lincoln had a mother who died of milk sickness ("Abraham Lincoln" History par 2-4). Abraham Lincoln lived in a one room log cabin but then his family moved to Macon Valley (“Abraham Lincoln” The par. 2). Early life Abraham Lincoln married Mary Todd and obtained a marriage license in November 1842. Mary Todd was from Lexington Kentucky when she married when she was 33 years old and Abraham Lincoln met her at 21 years old, the reason is that Abraham Lincoln always got fell into a deep depression and called it Hypo. Abraham Lincoln had four sons Robert, Edward, William and Tom, one lived from 1843 to 1926 and his wife Mary died in 1882 one of his sons died of typhus and Abraham Lincoln's wife Mary Todd became very depressed. Thomas "Tad" Lincoln's youngest son lived from 1853 to 1871 (Steers. 100). Thomas Lincoln was given the nickname “Tad” because his head as a child was larger than his body (Freedman 81). Abraham Lincoln got married to his new wife after his wife dyed his new wife's name is Stephanie and she had Willie ("Abraham Lincoln" Paragraph 6). Adult yearsAbraham Linco...... middle of paper...... age of residence when elected by the people ("Abraham Lincoln" Para.65). I still think Abraham Lincoln is still the best president and all the problems that happen in his life made him what he wasn't even though he was assassinated he will always be an inspiration to other presidents.Works Cited"Abraham Lincoln".
