In this world where people can acquire anything they need or want, we must ask ourselves, "Is the government controlling us?" Both the governments of A Brave New World and those of the United States of America offer birth control pills and have abortion clinics available to all, thus making it very easy to acquire birth control pills and abortion operations. Although both governments offer birth control pills and abortion clinics, the government in A Brave New World requires everyone to take the pills and have an abortion immediately during pregnancy. This in turn shows us that the government of A Brave New World is controlling the population and development of children. China is one of the few countries that currently has control over children's development. In controlling the development of its children, China also controls the population level. In any country, controlling the number of children a single family can have can dramatically reduce population levels. Simply having birth control pills and abortion clinics for anyone to benefit from shows that the involvement of both governments is already too high. Advertisements about birth control pills and abortion clinics are never seen on television or even on billboards, but somehow people discover ways to acquire birth control pills and find abortion clinics. In a country where we can buy certain items for free, we tend not to think about who provides or pays for them. In every single state in the United States, birth control pills and abortion clinics are located just around the corner. According to “Pro Life Actions,” there are approximately 750 abortion clinics throughout the United States.
