You can only control yourself and your life, you can't control someone else's life, only your own. Be like a glass of water that doesn't fizz rather than a can of coke that fizzes. I'm good at being proactive most of the time, but occasionally I'm more reactive and that's definitely something you should try to get better at. I need to stop reacting so impulsively. Habit 2: Start with the end in mind – Having an idea of where you want to go from the beginning and writing down your goals is very important. Be sure to keep your goals in mind as you plan for the future and make relationship decisions. A mission statement is like a tree with deep roots to guide you. Set goals that can be achieved but require hard work to achieve. I'm good at setting goals but I never write them down and that's something I really need to work on. Habit 3: Putting First Things First: Get a planner and be a prioritizer and not a procrastinator. Never let your fear make decisions. Get out of your comfort zone and enter the zone of courage.
