By achieving Magnet status, hospitals must demonstrate improved outcomes and clinical practice based on current evidence (Wise, 2009). The journal club and EBP committee are the superfluous part of obtaining Magnet status from the American Nurses' Credentialing Center (ANCC). I will begin an awareness campaign in August 2019. I will begin by evaluating and promoting awareness of Magnet status in order to obtain administrative support, and then form a task force to prepare it in January 2020. I will invite a consultant from Shadyside Hospital to work with me as a mentor and coach to enable our hospital to meet Magnet hospital requirements and standards this year
