We will always have conflicts and people like the US could just start a war and involve several countries. I think we can understand this well with social movements and large groups focused on a specific issue, just as Galtung would say. I also believe that Kant was right in saying that “war is something done by human beings”. Kant's perspective is absolutely right because with conflict comes war. Webel talks about war bringing peace after everything is over, but I don't tend to believe that because when someone, let's say, loses at something, they want to try again to win and will try to win by any means possible. This can be very violent and suggests the opposite of peace. I agree that peace cannot be perfect because even though I believe we should be in control and the government shouldn't, we are human and sometimes we make mistakes or let our emotions get the best of us. I feel that if we, as a whole, really try to become pacifists, peace can begin. I'm not saying we will have 100% peace, I'm just saying it's a really good start.
